As president, Bob uses his extensive banking and financial expertise to generate strong business results for TSYS Acquiring Solutions. Bob brings more than 20 years of accounting and financial management experience to TSYS Acquiring Solutions, having most recently served as senior vice president, finance and strategy, for Global Cash Access, a leading provider of cash access, financial management and customer relationship marketing technologies for the gaming industry. He was controller for Xoriant Corporation, a global provider of professional information technology services. Prior to Xoriant, Bob spent sixteen years with First Data Corporation as director of tax, vice president and chief financial officer for international operations, vice president and chief financial officer for retail credit card processing, corporate vice president of finance and business development, and senior vice president and chief financial officer for First Data joint ventures.
Darrel Anderson is responsible for leading our sales and marketing teams in achieving strong revenues and generating growth opportunities. Darrel joined TSYS Acquiring Solutions in 2004 and has over 19 years of experience in the payments industry. Prior to joining TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Darrel served as vice president of sales for SITEL Worldwide, a global Business Process Outsourcing leader. He also held a number of senior level positions with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, a leading North American financial institution, including management roles in issuing, acquiring, payments product development and channel management. Darrel was a member of the Board of Directors of CARIFS (Caribbean Integrated Financial Systems Network) and of CariCard Services Ltd.—the largest independent credit card processing corporation in the Caribbean.
As vice president of Human Resources, Kercea is responsible for all Human Resources functions at TSYS Acquiring Solutions. Kercea joined TSYS Acquiring Solutions from TSYS where she worked in general human resources, recruiting, benefits, payroll, employee relations and business services for over six years. She also served as a human resources business liaison for TSYS locations in Atlanta, Georgia; Golden, Colorado; Jacksonville, Florida; and New York, New York. In addition, Kercea has worked in the human resources arena with Webvan.com, BellSouth, Recruiters International, AVP and Associates and Jenny Craig. Kercea has earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Patty joined TSYS Acquiring Solutions in October of 2005 and has responsibility for accounting, billing, business development, financial planning, reporting and facilities. In addition, she plays a significant role in the efforts to achieve and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance certification. Prior to TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Patty served as assistant corporate controller for Hypercom and has worked in various financial leadership roles for ConocoPhillips.
Carey Blackstone has been with TSYS Acquiring Solutions since 1997 and is responsible for leading the company’s business strategy. His team is focused exclusively on strategy development, strategic initiatives, and bringing in new business through partnerships, alliances, and sales outside of our current client base. Prior to TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Carey was a senior manager with Coopers & Lybrand. In this role, he supported their business process outsource practice by marketing and managing accounting, information technology, and data center management services to federal financial regulatory agencies. Carey generated more than $2 million annually in new business and managed more than 40 financial institution mergers. Prior to Coopers & Lybrand, Carey was director of information services for a $50 million marina management company and an investment banking associate for Morgan Stanley. He also worked as a staff member for the House Banking Committee for the U.S. House of Representatives.
David Goldwin oversees all legal activity, including preparing and executing contracts, managing the company’s intellectual property, assisting in statutory and card brand compliance efforts and handling all litigation. David joined TSYS Acquiring Solutions in August 2001. Prior to joining the company, David worked in legal and project management for numerous companies within the acquiring industry, including Harbridge Merchant Services, Card Establishment Services and First Data. He also served as the general counsel for healthcare information services company, MedE America, overseeing an initial public offering, and subsequent acquisition by WebM.D. David currently serves on the Electronic Transaction Association’s Government Relations Committee, and the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Information Technology and eCommerce Subcommittee.
Phil Kumnick applies his significant knowledge of payments processing, both nationally and international, by leading the product management team and the company's efforts in global acquiring expansion. Prior to TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Phil was vice president and chief technology officer for Bridge Trading Technology where he was responsible for the design and development of real-time trading and transaction processing systems. Phil has over 12 years of experience with MasterCard International. He served as vice president and chief settlement officer, with executive responsibilities for MasterCard’s global clearing and settlement operations. Additionally, Phil was responsible for MasterCard’s world-wide 24 x 7 Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and trading operations ($1B+ USD cleared per day). During his tenure, Phil and his team deployed MasterCard’s in-country processing solutions in approximately three dozen countries during a time of rapid expansion.
Brian Sadowski is responsible for all aspects of application delivery including business architecture, application development and quality assurance. Prior to joining TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Brian was the director of product and system development at CitiStreet, a subsidiary of Citigroup and State Street Corporation, where he was responsible for the design, development and testing of a comprehensive benefits administrative system. He was also a program manager at Merrill Lynch Financial Data Services where he designed, developed and implemented a training commission compensation interface for the organization’s financial consultants. Brian was also a principal consultant for Computer Management Sciences, Inc. where he designed and developed a provider liaison application for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida.
Dale oversees all domestic contact center operations within TSYS Managed Services, including TSYS Acquiring Solutions, TSYS Issuing, TSYS Loyalty and TSYS Prepaid. Dale also plays an integral role in expanding offshore contact center operations. Prior to TSYS Managed Services, Dale was senior vice president of operations at First USA Paymentech where he managed all operations for Paymentech’s commercial card division. In this role, he was also responsible for developing policy for all Paymentech commercial card products, as well as developing fraud policy, prevention/detection processes and investigation procedures. Dale was also director of credit authorizations for American Express, where he was responsible for credit and fraud operational adherence to credit and fraud policy while ensuring timely and effective customer service.
As our senior vice president of client relations, Jeff Turner is responsible for all client relations functions, ensuring that TSYS Acquiring Solutions continually strives to delight our clients and driving additional value within our customer base. Jeff joined TSYS Acquiring Solutions in 2005 with more than sixteen years of experience in the payments industry. During his tenure at TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Jeff has provided strong account management leadership for some of our key customer relationships. Prior experience includes serving as group manager of national merchant relationships responsible for Paymentech’s account management team. In addition, Jeff spent more than nine years with MasterCard International where he supported the consumer and corporate acquiring business and leveraged best practices for key members in a number of MasterCard’s global markets. During his MasterCard tenure, Jeff was instrumental in developing relationships with four of the top ten acquirers for MasterCard’s U.S. region. He also managed Global Acceptance Development for MasterCard’s Corporate Payment Solutions after supporting the organization’s Acceptance Development efforts for their Latin America and Caribbean region. Early on in his career, Jeff held the vice president position managing the client relations group for First National Bank of Omaha—a top ten acquirer/processor in the U.S. market.
As chief operating officer, Dave Wood is responsible for Business Operations Support, Balancing Controls and Monitoring, Client Operations Management, the Project Management Office, Solutions Delivery, Terminal Deployment, Training and Documentation. Before joining TSYS Acquiring Solutions, Wood served for 15 years as a senior executive with Bank of America and was last responsible for its BA Merchant Services operations in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to Wood’s long-term tenure with Bank of America, he held management positions in operations with Bank One. Wood has built his career on improving customer experience, lowering operating costs and growing revenues.
